Facts about Silver Hake Fish
Silver hake fish, also called as whiting, is famous with their large heads compared to their bodies and their very sharp teeth. They are also very fast swimmers and this helps them to escape from hunters more easily, which results in 14 years of lifespan in Atlantic Ocean at depths between 50 and 900 meters. They can grow up to 70 centimeters and 2.5 kilograms but in average, they are around 40 centimeters and 2 kilograms. They have mild taste, delicate texture and high oil.
